For many years Rick has specialized in the production of monumental bronzes. His work usually is realistic representation, but occasionally deals in the abstract.  He is very gifted in portraiture work, both in sculpture and oil painting.  His painting and sculpture work also feature wildlife and western subjects as well as exploring biblical subject matter and prehistoric restorations. In 2008, Rick was honored with a Best in Show for sculpture at the Draft Horse Classic art show at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in California. Pictured below is the lastest creation.  It is a mosasaur, a prehistoric aquatic reptile.  Thanks again to Ken Kirkland and Dick Hilton for their expert guidance in creating this beast.  The whole thing is about 18' long.
